Great product. September 6, 2010 W. Pearce (Atlanta, GA) I'm very please with this watch. It appears to be very solid and of a very high quality.
Great Watch!! August 18, 2010 Cliff J. (Boston, MA USA) You don't wear this watch....it wears you! Big, heavy, shiny and not for the faint of heart, this watch delivers! Considering the price, I have no complaints about it. I'm a bit surprised it doesn't cost more. I received it as an anniversary gift from my wife and even though it's big for a watch, it's not exorbitantly big. I'm not a "big watch" kind of guy, but this thing won me over. It certainly grabs people's attention. A friend of mine who has an Omega Seamaster was eyeing it with envy. Go ahead and get this bad boy! You will not be dissapointed. It's the best dive watch you can get for the money.
Love this watch! April 6, 2010 C. Serig Form follows function! It is big and it is bulky, but keep in mind it's designed to withstand pressures at 300 meters depth. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in this watch are eye catching and tasteful. Materials and construction are superior quality. Even the simple details like having the end of the band slightly wider so you have to pull it through the hardware, this keeps it from falling off your wrist when you unfasten it - brilliant! All my dive buddies have "watch envy"...
Awesome chunk of a watch! March 21, 2010 Cord B. (SoCal) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've got two of these--stainless and titanium--and love them both. I also collect Panerai watches which are known for their size, and the Citizen sees as much (or more) wrist time than any of my other watches. There's a certain comfort in feeling the heft of a big watch on your wrist.
First of all, this thing is indestructible. It's made for t-shirt and jeans wearing, as it does not comfortably fit under a dress shirt, but this is not the watch to buy if you want one watch only. The eco-drive is perfect for part-time watches as it keeps perfect time and lasts over six months on a charge. Mine has also been down to 100' diving, and the extra strap material works great with a wet suit. I also never have an issue using it to bang on my tank to get attention under water. :)
Buy it, wear it, use it, love it.
Eco-Drive 300 Meter /w rubber band January 23, 2010 L. E. Lovett (White Bear Lake, MN) I own this watch and consider it awesome, with only one complaint - unless you're Waring it over a wet suit, the rubber band is extremely uncomfortable. I'd buy another, in fact I did buy another with a metal bracelet band.
