Amazon.com Product Description Be prepared for a night out on the town or a day's diving the reefs with Invicta's stylish Ocean Ghost II precise, Swiss-made diving watch (model 2299) with automatic movement, which provides water resistance up to 200 meters (660 feet). It features a round, shock-resistant silver stainless steel case with embossed unidirectional rotating bezel. The silver dial background is accented by blue triangular dial markers and Tritnite luminous hands (with blue seconds hand). The silver stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished pieces. Other features include an antireflective mineral crystal with magnifier, Cabochon crown, see-through caseback, and date function at 3 o'clock. Pro Diver Collection Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force. Automatic Watches
Automatic watches do not operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. Automatic movements mark the passage of time by a series of gear mechanisms, and are wound by the movement of your wrist as you wear it. The gear train then transmits the power to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the balance wheel. The balance wheel is the time regulating organ of a mechanical watch, which vibrates on a spiral hairspring. Lengthening or shortening the balance spring makes the balance wheel go faster or slower to advance or retard the watch. The travel of the balance wheel from one extreme to the other and back again is called oscillation. Lastly, automatic movements come in different types, including movements that are Swiss-made, Japanese-made, and more.
Also referred to as self-winding, watches with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the watch ticking. They're considered more satisfying to watch collectors (horologists) because of the engineering artistry that goes into the hundreds of parts that make up the movement. If you do not wear an automatic watch consistently (for about 8 to 12 hours a day), you can keep the watch powered with a watch winder (a great gift for collectors).

Poor manufacturing control February 6, 2010 Sunil Gupta 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The crown fell off on receiving the product, so I had to return it. The bracelet is composed of folded links instead of solid links, and it is somewhat cheap-looking overall.
"BBW"...Big-Beautiful-Watch...;-) January 4, 2010 Pietro (Fairfield, CT) I recently bought this watch on Amazon...and I have another from the same series, the 2304, Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Gold-Tone Automatic Watch #2304, which I've also reviewed...and they both are BIG, "weighing" in at 49 mm, which is about 20% larger than the 8926 Invicta diver; it does use the same Miyota automatic movement, which allows you to manually wind the watch [as opposed to some of the newer Invicta automatics which do not].
Pros: large but classy look, less "blingy" than the gold-tone models, allows manual winding, and easy to read
Con: mainly, very little in the way of illumination in the dark, except for the minute/hour hands.
I hope this helps!
Great watch for a small wrist December 30, 2009 M. Violet (Corona, CA USA) Received this as a Christmas present from a very close friend. I have small, skinny wrists and this is one of the few Invictas that fit and look good on me, (after I removed 6 links). I wish Invicta had more watches in their product line for us skinny guys. I like most of their designs but they're just too big for me.
Keep up the great work Invicta!
Nice watch June 8, 2009 S. Malladi Excellant watch. I am an average built guy and still the watch looks good on me. The only thing is it is automatic and if you dont wear it for one day you have to reset the time and date.Over all a nice watch
Pretty cool so far June 21, 2008 Jason J. Coates (Redlands, Ca USA!) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An incredible watch, it's both visually stunning, and a fine timekeeper. I just hope it lasts more than my last watch. I had a Casio G-shock, and somehow water got inside.(Probably shouldn't have worn it in the shower.)
