It features Timex's unique underwater Indiglo light activation as well as water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet). It has a large, silver stainless steel watch case topped by a large silver unidirectional bezel with black engraved 10-minute markings and coin-edged detailing. It frames an interior dial with 24-hour markings, a cream dial background, full Arabic numerals, large, luminous hands with seconds hand, and a day and date display at 3 o'clock. It a screw-in caseback and crown, an 8-year battery life, and a genuine leather strap in brown with white contrast stitching. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached.

My one disappointment is that the luminous hands really don't show up in the dark.
You need to use the indiglo function to read the time. Not a real big deal, but worth a mention. Otherwise its just what I wanted - no bells & whistles or alarms or other unwanted functions - just the basics.

Not so heavy, looks nice and has all I need. The glow in the dark is very nice. A little bit heavy and a little bit noisy, nothing to care about.

I asked for this for birthday because I needed a casual watch for just hanging out with the family on weekends, riding bikes, etc.
Nice ruggedly handsome. Sturdy Timex quality at the nice Timex price. Nothing fancy, but who doesn't like Indiglo? Does what it's supposed to and looks good doing it. Much more comfortable than those gigantic gaudy watches that are so popular right now.

I received the watch 3 days ago, and thus far I am very happy with the purchase.
Obviously, this does not have any bells and whistles. It's merely a watch. However, with that said, this watch has a very nice indigo feature. Very crisp and bright- very pleasant to look at. In addition, build is very solid, feels just about right on the wrist- not too heavy, not too light. The leather is also very comfortable though it does not feel good the first hour or so after you put it on. In addition, the metal rim around the watch is a very nice as it serves effectively as a stop watch.
I can think of one con which is the fact that the ticking is a little bit loud. Don't get me wrong, this isn't something you would hear frequently, only at night when you're trying to sleep. But even then, it has to be within a foot away from your ear.... though, i doubt you'd lose sleep on it even if you had it on your wrist at night.
Great watch- works great, feels great, and does exactly what's expected of it!

This watch is comfortable on my wrist and nice looking. The only poor thing about it is the way to change Day: you have to rotate time up to 144 hours - but you do it only once in its life. And usually it's what you get for this low price and only one button.
Highly recommended!
(also, steel body is not fine polished, but I'm ok with that)
